Mental health therapy for burnout, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, trauma, chronic stress, and more.
As is true in nature, when a fire burns out the cinders left behind still have the potential to reignite. Our goal is to help you stoke those flames to come back stronger than ever.
Our Philosophy
Have you been feeling overwhelmed by life lately? Waking up with a sense of dread? You don’t have to do this alone. Symptoms of burnout, chronic stress, anxiety, and depression are all signals that something deeper needs attention.
At Cinder, we are passionate about supporting you towards a more sustainable, balanced life. One where you have energy to devote towards all the areas that are important to you without losing yourself in the process.

We offer an integrative, evidence-based approach to therapy, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Existential Therapy.
We focus on helping you better understand the relationship between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also creating space to explore deeper questions around meaning, identity, and life transitions. We aim to support you in developing practical skills to navigate challenges in the present, while also processing past experiences that may be shaping your current patterns.
Because each person is unique, we work with you to tailor treatment to your individual needs. In addition to research-backed methods, we incorporate creative and reflective approaches such as art, music, writing, and philosophy to help you explore your inner experiences in ways that feel more personal, expressive, and meaningful. Above all, we strive to create a grounded, collaborative space where you feel supported and empowered to move toward a life that feels more aligned and meaningful to you.

1. How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy can be helpful for anyone feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply wanting to better understand themselves. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit. Many people come to therapy for support, clarity, and personal growth.2. What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is a chance for us to slow things down and get oriented. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve tried before, and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life after therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything at once, you’re in control of the pace. You’ll be asked exploratory questions with the goal of learning more about you and your experience. That way we can get a sense of what our work together could look like moving forward.3. How long does therapy take?
This varies depending on your goals and needs. Some clients come for a few months to work through a specific issue, while others engage in longer-term therapy for deeper exploration and ongoing support.4. How often will we meet?
Most clients start with weekly sessions, as consistency helps build momentum. As progress is made, we can adjust the frequency based on your needs.5. Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions?
We are currently conducting virtual sessions only. -
